Echelon Golf Club, formerly known as the Georgia Tech Club Golf Course is a private 18-hole golf course located in Alpharetta, Georgia.
This is a Rees Jones Championship designed golf course. The course first opened for play in 2006.
Located in the foothills of North Georgia the course is the centerpiece of a new upscale golf community development. The views, from the tees, set the introduction for a magnificent round and are framed with old hardwoods throughout the 600-acre development. The Echelon Golf Club Golf Course is a piece of nature reserved for those who want to experience a solid test of golf.
With striking elevation changes and playing to 7,558 yards from the back tees, the challenge at Echelon Golf Club is evident. By offering five sets of tees on each hole, Echelon levels the playing field and keeps the game fun and forgiving for all skill levels.

The low rate paid was for a seniors group playing on a Tuesday. However, the new management stated that the future rate for our group would be $55. For that amount it wouldn't be worth the 35-mile drive. It's a really nice course, but probably too difficult for most seniors unless about four of the holes are played from the "ladies" tees.

Great course, it's very scenic and in excellent condition. Very tough back 9, so buckle up after the turn. The only downside is they do not have a clubhouse, but I heard they are building one soon!
